Progress continues at a tremendous pace at our B1 data centre. Work is carried out even on weekends! In the space of about three weeks, our subcontractors have constructed the transformer room and fitted it out. They're just finishing off the final touches right now.
Just so you can get an idea of the kind of work and the speed of the work, we've attached some photos (see below).
Above: 18 April 2011 - the foundations are laid. This area was previously a storage room and three car park bays.
3 May 2011 - blockwork almost complete
17 May 2011 - fully fitted with gear. Photo taken INSIDE the transformer room. You can see the transformers (left), with high voltage switch gear at the back of the room, and switchboards to the right. The red cables are high voltage power cables.
