This week we have been showing you all around M1. We've had a look at our inert gas fire suppression system, our brand new high voltage switch room and the installation of the glass windows in the office areas at the front of the data centre.
Today we are going over all of the different areas and having a look at how they have progressed in this short time.
On Monday we showed you all of our Argonite fire suppression gas cylinders arriving at the data centre. Since then, as you can see from the photo above we have connected the cylinders up to the distribution manifold meaning that the system is now all linked up and is nearly ready to be operational!
On Tuesday we were having a look at the raised floors and the window areas of the data centre. At the time we were installing the first of the internal office windows. In this photo you can see how the exterior glass is now well under way and not far off completion!
This final image probably doesn't truly represent just how far we have come in our HV switch room but this is the last line of HV switchboards to be installed in the room. You might remember that on Wednesday we were only 20% finished!
We're looking forward to seeing what happens next week so check in for the latest!
