M1 - The Entrance Feature Goes Up
Wednesday, 02 May 2012 14:46

This week the iconic "red tongue" feature has been fitted to the façade of M1 down in Melbourne. This is a pretty exciting moment for M1 because the front doors are also installed and its now recognisable as the building in the artist’s impressions.

The red structure is made up of multiple pieces of red powder coated aluminium sheeting designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. The awning covers the top of the stairs and access ramps over the front entrance to shelter our customers from the weather as they enter M1.

The next step for the exterior of the building will be to add the sun shades over the office windows. Then we’ll put in the stairs and access ramps and test the security systems.

Check back in tomorrow to see the latest from C1 in Canberra.
