Today we're having a look at some of the new communications infrastructure down at C1. In the above photo you can see one of the new secure communications pits. Despite all of the pits being within the secure premises of the data centre, we have ensured that every pit lid is both lockable and alarmable.

Each pit is also installed with starter conduits so that carriers don't need to undertake any boring or digging within the secure perimeter of the property.

The white pipes you can see in this second photo are actually P100 communications conduits that will connect our new diversely located secure communications pits to the data centre. There will be 4 of these conduits connected to each of the new pits which means we will have a total of 8 entry conduits.
