S1 - Preparing For The First Pour |
|

The loading dock area of the site down at S1 is now clear of all mud and the base is being prepared for the first of the ground slabs to be poured.
The black pipes you can see sticking out of the ground in the top image are the in-ground services we needed finished before the pour. Provided this dry weather in Sydney continues, we should be pouring the first slab down that end of the property mid next week.
The pile of mud you can see in this second photo is the mud removed from the western end of the site. This pile was stripped from the loading dock area and replaced with blue metal (a type of gravel) to give us a dry base to work on. All of this mud will be removed from the site next week, freeing up the extra space to continue on with the work.
In this final photo you can see where the strip footing for the retaining wall of the storm water detention tanks has been poured. Block work should commence on this area any day now.
