The Directors of NEXTDC Limited (ASX:NXT) (“the Company” or “NEXTDC”) are pleased to advise that the Company has now received formal Development Approval (DA) from the City of Melbourne to construct its purpose-built data centre at Port Melbourne named “M1”.

This formal approval leads to official commencement of NEXTDC’s Melbourne data centre construction project and is the start of an exciting journey. Upon completion of this construction project, NEXTDC’s Melbourne data centre will be the largest carrier and systems integrator neutral data centre in Victoria offering its customers an ecosystem with critical connectivity, flexibly, scalability, security and a low carbon footprint.
