Following its Business Update on 11 February 2011, the Directors of NEXTDC Limited (ASX:NXT) ("the Company" or "NEXTDC") are pleased to advise that the Company now has received the final major development approval from Brisbane City Council for the installation of emergency standby generators in its Brisbane data centre facility “B1”.

The conditions and timing of this approval are consistent with NEXTDC’s overall project schedule for the B1 facility that is expected to be live end of May 2011 for customer occupation.
